| Our mission at Lagniappe Montessori and Children's Center is to provide a secure and comfortable en- vironment that is strategically designed for the stimu- lating development of a child socially, physically and emotionally. We recognize that the first six years of a child's life are crucial to human development and that education begins at birth. Personal development and self- esteem are essential for the full expression of a person's potential. Our objective is to strive for a balance between freedom, order and responsibility. We aspire to strengthen our connection with nature and the en- vironment and to instill in each child a love of learn- ing and curiosity about the world and the society in which he or she lives. When a child is educated in this manner, we believe that that child will become an adult whose love of learning and curiosity about the world leads to a harmon- ious, productive and rewarding life. Lagniappe Montessori and Children's Center will be licensed as a Class B Center and regulated by the Louisiana Department of Social Services. |
